This is a virtual event from 8AM- 3:35PM.  The targeted audience is Family Physicians\, Family Physicians with Special Interest in Dermatology\, Physician Assistants\, Primary Health Care Providers\, Family Medicine Residents\, Nurse Practitioners\, Registered Nurses\, and Other Health Care Professionals. Register Here. \nBy attending this activity\, participants will be able to: \n\nRecognize common and uncommon dermatologic conditions encountered in primary care\, including acne\, eczema\, psoriasis\, vitiligo\, and urticaria.\nApply evidence-based approaches to topical and systemic dermatologic treatments\, including appropriate selection\, safe prescribing\, and monitoring.\nDifferentiate between benign\, inflammatory\, and malignant skin lesions to guide management and timely referral.\nEvaluate when patients with complex or refractory dermatologic diseases require specialist referral or advanced therapy.\nImplement practical dermatologic management strategies suitable for the primary care setting\, including patient education\, follow-up\, and chronic disease support.\nIntegrate new evidence\, guidelines\, and treatment updates presented during the conference into everyday clinical practice.

DESCRIPTION:To conclude the 30th anniversary of Black History Month\, McMaster will host a celebratory closing event that honours the legacy\, impact\, and ongoing contributions of Black communities reinforcing the message that Black history is to be recognized and celebrated year-round.  \nThe event will feature a special film screening of Steadfast: Messenger and the Message\, a powerful documentary highlighting the life and work of The Honourable Jean Augustine\, a pioneering advocate\, educator\, and trailblazer in Canadian history who played a pivotal role in establishing Black History Month in Canada.
